Cliché Skateboards is reportedly back on the streets in 2026 and the word is spreading fast.

Pro skaters JB Gillet and Jeremie Daclin posted a clip on Instagram showing them skating with one of the classic Cliché decks and it already has the core heads talking.

Just seeing that deck in action brings back a lot of memories for anyone who grew up riding these boards and it feels like the streets are waking up to something familiar but fresh at the same time.

Other old-school brands are returning as well.

Enjoi and Madness are now under SideWalk Distribution and will be putting out new decks that still carry the feel of the originals.

Think Skateboards is also relaunching but without Keith Cochrane, Don Fisher, and Greg S. Carroll, so not everything from the original crew is coming back.

For those who rode these boards in the 90s and early 2000s, seeing Cliché decks pop up again hits different.

Even though there are more skate brands than ever, the OG names still mean something.

They have that history that connects with skaters in a way the newer brands cannot replicate.

The shapes, the graphics, and the way they feel under your feet all still carry weight when you drop in or cruise the streets.

The timing also feels right.

Skating is everywhere now, but the new wave of brands sometimes lacks that old-school soul.

Bringing back the classics gives the streets a chance to breathe a little differently and for skaters to remember why these boards mattered in the first place.

Seeing Cliché in the wild again makes it feel like the streets are stoked to see a part of skating history back in action.

For anyone out there who still keeps a deck under their arm or remembers the first time they rolled on a Cliché board, this comeback is more than a brand returning.
