It felt like the end of something that had defined an era of skateboarding.

The panda logo that once stood for fun and friendship suddenly seemed like just another casualty of corporate ownership.

Now, Louie Barletta has made it official. enjoi is back in his hands.

In a deeply personal post, Barletta shared the four words he says took three years to write. We got enjoi back. What might sound simple carried a lot of weight.

The enjoi brand was never just a company. He described it as being in his DNA, tied to the memories of friends who helped build it and those who are no longer here.

The panda is not just a graphic for Barletta. It represents years of hard work, road trips, inside jokes, video parts, and the kind of moments that turn into lifelong stories.

According to Barletta, enjoi did not truly die. He believes it was taken. He points to corporate greed as the reason the brand slipped away from the people who built it.

Things escalated when he heard that the name enjoi was being lined up for scooters, roller skates, helmets, and rollerblades for Walmart.

That was the breaking point.

For skaters who grew up skating enjoi decks, collecting graphics, and even getting the panda tattooed on their skin, the idea of seeing the brand watered down in big box aisles did not sit right.

Barletta said he felt responsible for protecting what enjoi meant to the skate community. He said too many people put in too much work to let it become just another label stamped on random products.

The announcement landed on Valentine’s Day, which felt fitting considering how much of his message focused on love.

Love for his friends. Love for the history. Love for the fun that defined enjoi from the beginning.

He closed things out by teasing a summer tour with Jacuzzi Unlimited and enjoi, hinting that this is not just about ownership paperwork.

It is about getting back on the road and rebuilding the team spirit that made the brand special in the first place.

For those who stuck around through the uncertainty, this feels like a fresh start. enjoi is not being revived as a corporate side project.

It is returning to someone who was there when it mattered most.
