Pro skater Bastien Salabanzi recently shared a deeply emotional post that caught attention across the skate community.
In the post, he appeared in tears and opened up about how overwhelmed he feels about what is happening in the world.
He shared a message directed to the Lord, asking for help and expressing sorrow over innocent lives being lost.
His words reflected a heavy sense of responsibility and regret, saying that people are not doing enough and that silence makes everyone part of the problem.
In his own message, Salabanzi wrote:
"Lord please help us all!!! We have failed you. We have failed every single one of this innocent lives dying without us stepping up to put an end to it. Your blood is on our hands. We are all responsible for it. Everyday that goes by without an immediate stop to our very own existence in the name of right versus wrong. In the name of Good versus Evil is an absolute disgrace to the human species. Don’t lie to yourself. We are all responsible for accepting this. We are all accomplices

After posting the image, he also responded to a comment from someone asking if he was ok. His reply was direct and emotional. He simply said, how can you be ok.
"How can you be!!? How can you be ok ?
"
That short response added even more weight to the post, showing how deeply affected he is by everything he has been reflecting on.
Salabanzi has also been connected with Skate For Peace, a project planned for July 1 that aims to bring awareness and support peace through skateboarding.

While the event itself may not be able to change global conflict on its own, it is intended to bring people together and spark conversation.
Right now, Salabanzi seems to be focusing on speaking openly, sharing his thoughts, and turning to prayer as he deals with what he is seeing and feeling.
