Skateboarding journalist Robert Brink appears to be preparing another round of public scrutiny.

And his latest social media activity has already given the skateboarding community something to talk about.
Brink announced plans to publish a collection of ready-to-send letters calling on skate shops to stop selling products from several skateboarding brands, including Girl, Chocolate, Zero, Sci-Fi Fantasy, Disorder, Nine Club, and Thrasher.
According to Brink, these brands have continued to support or enable various forms of alleged misconduct, including abuse, sexual assault, misogyny, grooming, predatory behavior, racism, queerphobia, and other serious issues.
He also claims that these companies have refused to publicly address the concerns or take meaningful action.
His planned website post will reportedly include copy-and-paste letters, corporate contact information for retailers such as Zumiez, CCS, Vans, and other large online stores, along with direct contact details for people running the brands.

Brink says each letter will include details of the allegations and links to supporting material he has published or collected.
The idea is to make it easier for skateboarders to contact retailers and brand representatives directly, asking them to reconsider their business relationships.
He hopes to have the materials ready.
Brink Posted:
"Friends ...
This weekend, I’m creating copy/pasteable, screenshot-able, ready-to-send letters calling for skate shops to end resale of the Girl / Chocolate, Zero / Warsaw, Sci-Fi Fantasy, Disorder, Nine Club and Thrasher brands due to their ongoing support and enabling of abuse, sexual assault, misogyny, genocide, grooming / predatory behavior, racism and queerphobia-as well as their refusal to publicly address and remedy these issues.
The post on my website will provide the relevant HR & corporate contact info at Zumiez, CCS, Vans and other chains / large online / mailorder, but you can easily copy and paste the letters into any text message, email or DM to send to any shop you choose, no matter the size or location.
The details of each brand’s actions and complicity will be pre-written with links to all the supporting evidence I’ve produced and aggregated on my website, for you to quickly and easily share... and for the recipients to easily review and pass along their bullshit corporate decision-making pipelines.
I will also provide direct contact info for those running the aforementioned brands, so the letters can be sent to them as well.
I believe the time to make some changes has arrived and I hope to have this ready by early next week 🙌🛹"
But that wasn't the only thing Brink posted.
Following his announcement, he shared a video featuring YouTuber Gifted Hater.
The video showed what appeared to be a Roblox icon in the YouTuber's browser. Brink also pointed out that most of the player ages displayed were between 9 and 12 years old.

He accompanied the footage with an intriguing message.
"Two Desktop shortcuts? Must be important, eh?
We'll be revisiting this video in the future ... but for now, just a getting it on the record ...
By 2025–2026, Roblox reported between 70 and 100 million daily active users. Roughly 40–45% of those users are under age 13, and the majority are under 16.
This massive concentration of children in a single online platform, combined with Roblox's user-generated nature, has made it especially attractive to bad actors seeking easy access to vulnerable children, a disturbing reality that has drawn the attention of the FBI, state attorneys general, and international regulators.
Law enforcement agencies and multiple lawsuits have described Roblox as a fertile hunting ground for adult sexual predators and pedophiles. According to those allegations, adults routinely pose as teenagers, move private conversations off-platform, and engage in grooming, sextortion, and online sexual abuse.
The pattern is well documented. A predator posing as a peer befriends a child, builds trust through shared gameplay and virtual currency gifts, and gradually escalates to requests for sexually explicit photos or videos. In the worst cases, these online interactions have led to real-world abductions and sexual abuse."
That comment has left room for speculation about what he intends to investigate next.
However, the footage alone does not establish any wrongdoing by Gifted Hater, and the presence of Roblox in a browser does not demonstrate inappropriate interactions with minors.
Given Brink's previous focus on alleged abuse and misconduct within skateboarding, his latest posts suggest that he may have more material he intends to examine.
For now, we'll have to wait and see what he publishes next.
If his planned letters and latest video are any indication, Brink isn't finished examining the controversies surrounding the skateboarding community.
