Gus Gordon is officially a pro skater for Antihero Skateboards, and the announcement feels like a perfect fit for someone who has been making a name for himself without relying on social media.
Gordon has been killing it in the streets while keeping things pretty low key online.
He does not even have official social media accounts, which makes his rise within the core scene even more interesting.
His skating and presence have done most of the talking for him.
That approach has earned Gordon a lot of respect from the core heads. He has built his reputation through skating, appearances and the people around him instead of constantly being online.
Now Antihero has made it official by giving him pro status.
Antihero Skateboards posted:
“Gus Gordon PRO, from the birds of prey to the streets today!!”
The reference to Birds of Prey points back to Gordon’s roots and the path he has taken before landing on the Antihero team.
Now he has his own place among the brand’s professional riders.
Hell yeah! Gordon is officially pro!
