Antihero is giving skaters another reason to pick up one of its Treasure Island boards, with proceeds from each sale going toward the continued construction of the Treasure Island DIY Skatepark.
The brand recently thanked everyone who has supported the project and shared that money from the board sales is being used to help build out the park.
The crew has already broken ground on a new quarter pipe, giving the DIY another piece to work with as construction continues.
Treasure Island has been built piece by piece, with the crew continuing to shape the layout and figure out how each section connects.
The next part of the plan is to enclose the park and finish the corners, which should help bring the different sections together and give the setup a more complete flow.
The Treasure Island Skatepark GoFundMe is still accepting contributions from anyone who wants to help with the construction.
According to the fundraiser, completing the enclosure and finishing the corners are key parts of the current plan.
So if you were already thinking about picking up one of the Treasure Island decks from Antihero, that purchase now has a direct connection to the DIY.
Your money is helping turn another section of the park from an idea into something people can actually skate.
