Online casino promotions are becoming more common among professional skateboarders, with another big name now getting involved.
Zero pro skater Ryan Sheckler has teamed up with Legacy Social Casino and is promoting the platform to his followers through an exclusive promo code.
Sheckler shared the partnership on social media, explaining that he had already been using Legacy Social Casino before working with the company.
“Stoked to be partnering with Legacy Social Casino 🎰,” Sheckler wrote.
“I’ve been playing there for a while now, and I loved how convenient everything is, so I team up with them!”
As part of the partnership, Shecks is giving his followers the promo code “SHECKS,” which provides access to 32 free Sweeps Coins and 70,000 Gold Coins.
The promotion also advertises convenient payouts through options such as Apple Pay, along with a selection of casino style games.
Legacy Social Casino lists fish games, blackjack, roulette, slots, live dealers and Plinko among the games available through the platform.
Shecks' post comes as more pro skateboarders have started appearing in promotions for online casino and gambling platforms.
As we previously reported, Nyjah Huston, Chris Joslin and Dylan Jaeb have all endorsed Stake through promotions aimed at the skateboarding community.

Those partnerships drew criticism from some skateboarders, including Weckingball, who called out the involvement of gambling companies within skateboarding.

The discussion became even more noticeable after Stake also became a partner of Street League Skateboarding, giving the gambling company a larger presence around one of the biggest competitive skateboarding organizations.

On the other hand, Legacy Social Casino partnership is being presented as something Shecks was already using before becoming involved with the company.
Shecks' post specifically points to the convenience of the platform and gives followers a direct promo code to use.
The partnership also shows how casino companies are continuing to look toward skateboarding personalities and their large social media audiences for promotion.
This will likely continue the conversation about how gambling companies are advertising to the skateboarding community.
