Now fans can finally see how it all went down.

A Thrasher My War episode has been released, giving everyone a closer look at what it took for Jace to roll away from one of the most intimidating spots in skateboarding.

The episode follows everything that led up to the cover photo, showing the attempts, the commitment, and the relief that came after finally landing the trick.

The Costco gap has carried a special place in skateboarding for years.

Brother in Christ Ryan Sheckler made the spot famous in 2008 with his kickflip, and for nearly two decades nobody managed to add another trick to its history.

That changed when Jace stepped up and landed a huge switch ollie, earning one of the most talked about Thrasher covers of the year.

As always, My War gives viewers a behind the scenes look that you do not get from a single photo or short clip.

Watching the full process makes it easier to appreciate just how difficult the trick really was and why it deserved the magazine cover.

Thrasher shared the episode with the caption:

"Made famous by Ryan Sheckler, the Costco gap in Laguna Niguel remained dormant for years. Recently, Jace inscribed his name in history with a towering Switch Ollie, landing him on the cover of The Mag."

If you have not watched the episode yet, it is well worth checking out.

Seeing the attempts before the make gives the cover photo even more meaning and shows exactly what Jace went through before rolling away from one of skateboarding's most legendary gaps.
