N Word Skateboards has announced a new sale featuring blem skateboard decks for $50 through its website.
The brand explained that the decks are made from the same high quality wood used for its regular releases, but each one has a minor printing error that occurred during production.
To answer questions from customers, the company explained what a blem board actually is.
According to the post, the only difference is the cosmetic printing issue. The shape, construction, and overall quality remain the same as the brand's standard decks.
Each order will be selected at random from the available blem inventory.
The sale gives skaters a chance to pick up one of the brand's decks at a lower price if they do not mind small graphic imperfections.
Blem sales are common in skateboarding since many riders care more about how a board skates than small visual flaws that have no effect on performance.
Along with the blem deck announcement, N Word Skateboards also shared an update on its Naspen project.
While the company did not provide a release date or additional details, it thanked supporters for their patience and let them know that work is still continuing.
