Brother in Christ Antwuan Dixon has lived a life that has seen both real struggles and real change.
For a lot of people who have followed his story over the years, this latest recognition feels meaningful in a different way.
Back in 2008, Dixon was arrested in Tampa on charges that included possession of marijuana under 20 grams and cocaine with intent to sell.
The situation also involved battery against three law enforcement officers. He was held on a four thousand dollar bond before being released.
His legal issues did not stop there.
In 2013, he was sentenced to three years in jail after violating probation.
That case included charges such as battery, vandalism, and child endangerment following an incident at a convenience store that escalated.
In 2016, he was taken into custody again and later released toward the end of that year. For a while, it seemed like he was stuck in a cycle that kept repeating.
But over time, things started to change.
Dixon found faith, got baptized, and began living with a different purpose.
People close to him and fans have seen that shift in how he carries himself and how he talks about life now.
He often shares his beliefs openly and credits God for helping him turn things around.
That change has not gone unnoticed.
He recently earned major recognition, including a cover with Thrasher, and now something that speaks to a different kind of impact.
And now, the College Skateboarding Educational Foundation named him an honorary member of its Class of 2026.
The foundation shared his story as an example of growth and resilience, explaining that there is no single path when it comes to education or life direction.
In their message, they shared that no one’s story is over until they decide it is, and that Dixon represents that idea in a real way.
