As we previously reported, Samwise Sorter officially launched his own skateboard brand, Pushwise, and all of his supporters were stoked to see him finally achieve his dream.
Samwise parted ways with Honda as a car salesman to focus on his brand, with his mother and father by his side helping make that dream come true.

His mother was even against skateboarding when he was a kid, and he revealed that his parents viewed it as a waste of time when he was younger.
But now that he is in his 40s, Mama Sorter is finally proud of him as his following on social media continues to grow.

Unfortunately, a major hurdle came with that success, as his father-in-law suffered a stroke, according to Samwise.
The skateboarding influencer took to social media and told fans that he would be returning to car sales and already has an interview lined up to help support his family.

The good news is that Samwise’s father-in-law is in good hands and will be staying with Samwise, his wife, and their children, who will help care for him. Samwise also revealed that his father-in-law is now using a wheelchair and has an eye problem.
We at ShreddER hope that Samwise will soon be back to growing his brand while pursuing his career in car sales, but he mentioned that he will be rebranding as he had a fallout with the company he was working with, so stay tuned.
For now, Pushwise is on hold, but boards are still available. If you would like to support Samwise and his family during this difficult time, consider making a purchase to help with his father-in-law’s medical and living expenses.
