Samwise Sorter is officially stepping into a new chapter, and this time it has nothing to do with selling cars.

As we previously reported, the skateboard loving car salesman has parted ways with Honda, closing the door on his time in the automotive world.

For a while, a lot of core heads assumed the next move would be obvious. Honda's top competitor Toyota felt like the logical landing spot, especially with Samwise already having a name for himself as a salesman who skates.

But instead of jumping to another dealership, Samwise surprised everyone by walking away from car sales entirely.

Rather than selling vehicles, he is focusing on something much closer to his heart. Skateboarding.

Not just skating for content, but building something of his own from the ground up.

Several big skateboard brands are shutting down due to an overcrowded market.

Still, Samwise is moving forward with plans to launch his own skateboard brand. It is a risky move by any standard, especially without backing from a major company, but Samwise seems fully aware of what he is getting into.

A big part of his confidence comes from the following he has built online.

Over the years, his honest and sometimes awkward personality connected with people who saw a bit of themselves in him.

That loyal audience is now backing his next step, giving him the chance to become his own boss in the skate world.

So far, Samwise has not revealed the name of the brand or what the first products will look like.

But something is coming soon, and many are curious to see how it turns out once it finally drops.

In a recent post, Samwise opened up about the decision and did not pretend to have everything figured out.

He wrote that he decided to leave the automotive industry to focus full time on social media and building his own skate brand. He admitted he does not really know what he is doing and is simply following ideas and dreams he has carried since he was a kid.

He also asked for support and patience as he works through the process, saying that what matters most to him is whether people genuinely enjoy the skateboard they end up buying.

Samwise said that he does not see himself as a professional skateboarder. While he has some skills, he wanted to be upfront that his goal has never been competition or fame through skating alone.

What matters more to him is encouraging others to stick with skating and not give up on what they enjoy.

He also reflected on how much social media has changed his life, saying the support he has received helped him come out of his shell.

The growth of his following has gone far beyond anything he ever expected.

For now, all eyes are on Samwise’s skate company. The brand name is still a mystery, but the story behind it is already getting attention, and many people are ready to see where this new direction leads.

Samwise Posted:

"I want to clear the air, I’m not a skateboard professional, but a dude that loves to skateboard and inspire others to keep pushing! Thank you for all your love and support, its helped me so much to get out of this shell that’s been holding me back."
