Things got gnarly at the Venice skatepark when a man pulled up looking for a fight and started acting aggressive around skaters, including kids who were nearby.
The situation escalated fast when he pulled out a knife and started threatening people at the park.
The skaters tried to de-escalate the situation and asked the man with the knife to leave, but after things calmed down, the suspect tried to bother the skaters again.
This time, Skate Goat Leandre Sanders reacted fast and swung his skateboard, hitting the man’s hand and knocking the knife out before anything worse could happen.
That moment changed everything and stopped the threat right there.
After the weapon hit the ground, other skaters rushed in and surrounded the man.
They held him down and kept control of the situation while waiting for police to show up.
Nobody let him get back to the knife.
Cops arrived a short time later and arrested the suspect on the spot. Skate Goat gave the knife to the cops and the situation was fully handled before it could lead to anyone getting stabbed.
