Delta Skateboards professional skateboarder Bastien Salabanzi has been keeping himself busy lately.

Between skating the streets, spending time with his band, and preparing for his upcoming Skate For Peace event on July 1, the longtime skateboarding icon has had plenty on his plate.

Even with everything going on, Salabanzi recently took time out of his schedule for something that had nothing to do with skateboarding.

The French pro visited a hospice care facility and performed music for people living with Alzheimer’s disease.

It was a chance to spend time with residents, share some love, and bring smiles through music.

While many know Salabanzi for his incredible talent on a skateboard, moments like this show another side of him.

Music has become an important part of his life, and he was grateful for the opportunity to share it with people facing difficult circumstances.

The visit clearly meant a lot to him, as he later shared a heartfelt message about the experience on social media.

"What a honor and a privilege to have had the chance to play music for all those beautiful souls living with Alzheimer’s disease. Thank you for having me and to welcome us with open arms!! It was a very special moment for us. God bless you all 🙏🏾❤️🕊️✨ #music #therapy #blessed @lizakatostok @sanjuanmusic #waitingonanangel"

For many people living with Alzheimer’s, music can bring comfort, memories, and connection.

Salabanzi's visit gave residents a chance to enjoy live music and spend time together in a warm and uplifting atmosphere.

As he continues working on his music and preparing for Skate For Peace, it's great to see Salabanzi using his time to give back to others and spread kindness wherever he can.

Not every meaningful moment happens on a skateboard. Sometimes it happens with a guitar, a song, and a room full of people who appreciate being seen and cared for.
