DGK is showing love to one of the figures who helped shape the Los Angeles skate scene by dropping a new pro deck for skateboarding legend Fabian Alomar called the Street Soldier.
The moment is deeply personal for Lord Williams.
He shared on social media how much DGK means to him and how the brand has always celebrated the people who came before and laid the foundation for the skate community he grew up in.
He talked about knowing Fabian from his younger days skating in the streets and trying to make it, remembering how Fabian always encouraged him, telling him his time was coming.
That encouragement came full circle with this deck, giving Lord Williams’s son a chance to connect with skate history firsthand.
