The reigning, defending, undisputed Olympic world champion Yuto Horigome is bringing something fresh to the sneaker game.

On April 3rd, his highly anticipated Matcha Dunks will hit skate shops, pairing his love for skating with a colorway inspired by one of Japan’s most iconic flavors.

Horigome took to social media to drop the news, writing, "My matcha dunks are coming out on April 3rd at a skate shop near you🍵🛹🫶😈" The announcement got plenty of attention, and for good reason.

A signature shoe is always a big deal, but when it comes from someone who made history at the Olympics, it carries extra weight.

Horigome’s partnership with Nike SB has been a natural fit, and this latest release only strengthens that connection.

While he’s already cemented himself as one of the best to ever do it, this drop adds another layer to his influence, showing how skateboarding and personal style go hand in hand.

With an official release date locked in, fans will want to keep an eye on their local skate shops. If the hype around these is any indication, they won’t be sitting on shelves for long.
