Skateboarder and designer Sami Tolppi is celebrating six years of Last Resort AB, the independent footwear brand he helped build from the ground up in Sweden.
In a post, Tolppi said he is damn proud of how far the brand has come, especially considering it started with nothing and grew into a name supported by people around the world.
He also opened up about something that still gets to him.
Some of Last Resort AB’s biggest supporters are core heads he has never met, while some of the least supportive people are closer to home.
Six years in, Tolppi says Last Resort AB is still here to expand his mind and keep going foreal!

"Today I’m damn proud and happy because our brainchild Little AB a.k.a Last Resort AB turns SIX! Never in my wildest dreams did I think it was possible to build a 100% independent footwear brand…out of Sweden…from the exact amount of 0...to something that has become known and appreciated globally within the community I grew up in and beyond. What sometimes saddens me is that our strongest supporters are people I’ve never met, and the most unsupportive ones are closer by. I guess it’s a tale as old as time, but it still makes me wonder.
