WKND Skateboards and Hyperion Distribution are currently hiring a Sales Manager to help guide wholesale growth and manage key retail relationships across their expanding distribution network.
Hyperion Distribution works with a strong lineup of brands that includes WKND, Pass~Port, Butter Goods, Rassvet, Hoddle, Cash Only, Hardbody, and Dancer.
The group has been steadily building its presence in the North American market while also working with international accounts and specialty retailers.
The Sales Manager role is based in Los Angeles, California, and follows a hybrid setup with time split between office work and remote coordination.
The position focuses on leading wholesale sales across North America while also supporting internal distribution operations and selected global partners.
A big part of the job is building and maintaining relationships with specialty skate shops, premium retail accounts, department stores, and distribution partners.
The role also involves presenting seasonal collections to buyers, managing sell-in processes, and handling order flow and payments across multiple brands.
Beyond day-to-day sales work, the Sales Manager will look for new retail and partnership opportunities while keeping an eye on how products are positioned in the market.
Sales performance tracking, account analysis, and reviewing trends will also play a role in shaping future planning.
The position is cross-functional, meaning regular coordination with brand teams, marketing, operations, product development, and leadership is expected.
Communication between departments helps keep releases and sales aligned across different brands under the Hyperion umbrella.
Applicants should have at least five years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, or business development.
A strong understanding of skateboarding culture, fashion retail, and specialty store environments is important for success in this role.
The ideal candidate is comfortable managing accounts, building long-term relationships, and handling negotiations with buyers.
Strong communication and presentation skills are required, along with experience in forecasting, reporting, inventory planning, and seasonal sales cycles.
Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Shopify, NuORDER, JOOR, Brandboom, or ApparelMagic is expected, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once.
Travel may be required for meetings with accounts, trade shows, and seasonal buying appointments.
This opening reflects the continued growth of Hyperion Distribution and its brand roster as it expands its wholesale reach and strengthens its retail partnerships.
