Some people clock in, do their job, and go home. Others find a way to make their work something more.
Killian Pryor falls into the second group. By day, he’s a UPS driver, delivering packages across Phoenix, Arizona.
But along the way, he’s delivering something else - skateboards, and with them, a whole lot of smiles.
Pryor has become a local legend, not just for his efficient routes but for the unexpected gifts he drops off.
While most drivers leave Amazon boxes and padded envelopes at the door, he’s been known to surprise kids with brand-new boards, completely free.
Jenkem caught up with him for their "Locals" series, which highlights people who play a role in skateboarding culture without always being in the spotlight.
Pryor is exactly that. Someone making a difference in a way that feels natural, never forced.
He’s not in it for clout, just for the love of skating and the way it brings people together.
His approach is simple. When he comes across a kid in need of a board. Whether their setup is thrashed or they’ve been skating a Walmart board, He hooks them up.
If they’re stoked on skating but don’t have the right gear, he makes sure they get it.
It’s not just the kids who appreciate it. Parents, who might not always understand skate culture, start to see it in a new light when they see someone like Pryor going out of his way to support it.
At the end of the day, Pryor isn’t trying to change the world. He just loves skating, and if he can help someone else experience that same excitement, that’s enough.
And with that, he’s off—another day, another delivery, another kid with a new board and a reason to get out there and skate.
