Transgender sponsored skater Trish McGowan just locked in a new deal with There Skateboards, and the streets are showing love.
After rolling solo for a bit, she’s finally found a crew that really fits what she’s about.
When Leo Baker and Glue Skateboards wrapped things up, Trish didn’t sit around waiting for someone to call. She kept skating, filming, hitting spots, and doing her thing like always.
No sponsors, just pure grind.
That’s what caught the eye of Jeffrey Cheung, the one behind There Skateboards. He saw what everyone else saw. A real one who lives and breathes skate life.
There Skateboards dropped the news online saying:
“its official… Trish skates for There. WELCOME TO THE TEAM TRISH !!! @princ3ss520”
That post lit up fast. The growing queer skate community was hyped to see Trish getting her flowers. She’s been holding it down for a while, representing the trans and gay skate community with pride and confidence.
Now that she’s officially part of There, everyone’s waiting to see what’s next. New parts, new clips, maybe a pro deck. Congrats!
