Legendary professional skateboarder Tony Hawk will be the subject of a significant forthcoming feature documentary called "Until The Wheels Fall Off."
American pay television network owned by WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Home Box Office (HBO) has acquired The Upcoming Tony Hawk Documentary.
The 53-year-old pro skater, a world-class champion, will have a focus on his life and skateboarding career in a new feature film produced by Duplass Brothers.
“We’ve been quietly working on this one for a few years,” producer Mark Duplass said. “We are floored with the unmitigated access Tony has allowed us to his life and his fascinating relationship to the sport.”
Hawk, the first-ever X Games gold medalist in skateboard vert competition, worked with Duplass for few years on debut doc.
The Birdhouse skateboards co-founder is a well-known skateboarder in the world together with his video game franchise, "Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series."
Tony Hawk: Until The Wheels Fall Off, a definitive look at Hawk's life and iconic career film, will hit the premium cabler in 2022 and be available to stream on HBO Max.
