The skateboarding icon took a moment to celebrate a very personal occasion, sharing a heartfelt message for his wifsoe as they reached their 11th wedding anniversary.

Looking back on more than a decade together, Birdman wrote that making their relationship "official" 11 years ago has been "the greatest adventure ever since." His post was filled with appreciation as he thanked his wife for believing in him during times when he struggled to believe in himself. He also gave her credit for helping guide their children, and now their grandchild, while creating countless memories together as a family.

One part of the message that stood out to many people was Birdman's honest admission that his wife supported him even when his own confidence was low.

It was a simple statement, but one that showed how much her encouragement has meant throughout their marriage.

Skaters are used to seeing Birdman share clips from skate sessions and appearances, so seeing him open up about his personal life gave followers a different side of the legendary skater.

Birdman also spoke about raising their family together and making good choices along the way.

With their children now adults and a grandchild included in the celebration, his post showed how much their family has grown over the years.

He finished the message by saying he looks forward to watching their love continue to grow, pairing the words with wedding themed and heart emojis.

The anniversary tribute quickly drew plenty of positive reactions from fans, friends, and fellow skateboarders.

Many congratulated the couple on reaching 11 years together, while others commented on how genuine and heartfelt the message felt. It was one of those posts that connected with people well beyond skateboarding.

Although Birdman has accomplished more than most could imagine during his career, moments like this show what matters most to him away from the spotlight.

His anniversary message was a simple expression of gratitude, love, and appreciation for the woman who has stood beside him through every chapter of their life together.

Birdman Posted:

"11 years ago we made it “official” and it has been the greatest adventure ever since. Thank you for believing in me when I hardly believed in myself, for helping guide our children (and grandchild!) to make good choices, and for all of the precious, magical moments in between. Forever, watching love grow. 👴🏼🖤👰🏼‍♀️"
