Skateboarding and hip-hop have always shared a special connection, both emerging from street culture and creative expression.

Recently, something pretty cool happened that brought these two worlds even closer.

Professional skateboarder TJ Rogers gave RZA, the legendary producer and member of the Wu-Tang Clan, a quick lesson on how to throw up the Sk8Mafia sign.

The moment TJ showed RZA how to flash the Sk8Mafia sign was genuine and relaxed. No flashy moves or complicated explanations - just a simple, laid-back exchange between two people who respect what the other does.

RZA picked it up quickly, as TJ explained the meaning behind the hand gesture. It’s a symbol of belonging, pride, and connection within the skate crew, and now, thanks to this meeting, it’s got a little Wu-Tang flavor added to it.
