It is not every day that a skateboard company owner ends up on the phone with U.S. president, but that is exactly what Tim Pool says happened to him.

According to the Boonies Skateboards CEO, he received a personal call from Donald Trump, and the conversation was not just a quick hello.

He claims Trump spoke highly of him and even referred to him as a “good friend,” which quickly caught people’s attention online.

It is an unusual crossover.

Skate culture and national politics do not usually mix like this, so the story spread fast across social media.

Some skaters were impressed by the connection, saying it shows how far Pool’s influence has reached beyond his usual audience.

Others saw it as a moment worth celebrating, especially among supporters who already align with his views.

At the same time, not everyone reacted positively.

Dems and lib skateboarders were quick to call him out, with some labeling him a “bootlicker” and questioning his stance and credibility.

The reaction has been split right down the middle, with strong opinions on both sides.

Pool really does not look fazed by the backlash at all. If anything, Tim Pool is just letting people talk while he keeps doing his thing.

From his side, it comes off like he knows the noise is part of the game once you get that kind of attention.

For the MAGA skaters, the call is a sign of recognition from a major political figure.
