Thrasher Magazine has always been about documenting skateboarding in its realest form, and now they are teaming up with Polaroid to keep that tradition alive in a fresh way.
For more than four decades, Thrasher’s pages have been stacked with photos that define skate culture. Mixed in with the big sessions and the road trips are Polaroid shots that captured life around the board in an instant.
The two have now officially linked for a collaboration that speaks to skateboarding’s love of photography.
At the center of the project is a hydro-dipped Polaroid camera covered in Thrasher’s signature flames, along with a run of limited edition instant film.
The connection makes sense. Skaters have always valued photography not just for the tricks but for everything around them.
From late night parking lot sessions to friends stacking up on a curb, the quick snap of a Polaroid keeps the moment with you.

"The history of Thrasher has been captured on film for 45 years, with Polaroid photos peppered throughout our endless archive. These moments have guided generations and brought us together, chronicling the chaos and documenting our story. We are proud to introduce our collaboration with @Polaroid, featuring a hydro-dipped camera and limited edition instant film #PolaroidThrasher"
