Professional skateboarder Tony “TNT” Trujillo is looking back at Vans’ 2008 Israel tour.
The trip was packed with gnarly skating, good homies, and a life-changing phone call.
TNT recalls spending his days skating with Hammeke, P Stone, and a van full of rippers. There was no constant social media back then, just a crew traveling, skating, and enjoying the moment.
One day, TNT called home and got some huge news from his wife, Trixie. She told him she was pregnant.
It was a simpler time in skating, when the best memories came from long days on the road, good friends, and whatever spot was waiting around the next corner. For Tony, Israel 2008 was one trip he’ll never forget.
