Thank You Skateboards has allegedly wrapped things up, according to multiple sources close to the scene.
The brand’s final social media activity goes back to August 20, 2025, when they shared their King Of The Hill collaboration.
After that point, things went quiet and the slowdown became hard to ignore.
The strange part is that the brand was still putting out footage earlier on. They had guest boards like the Cairo Foster release and fresh faces joining the team.
Riders such as Gustavo Ribeiro and Danny Hamaguchi remained active and helped keep attention on the brand. However, neither currently lists Thank You Skateboards on their bios.
Even so, skateboarders noticed that Daewon Song had been missing.
His last appearance on their social feed was on March 7, 2025. After that date he no longer showed up with the crew.
According to a source who spoke with ShreddER, Song was reportedly no longer involved with the brand, leaving many to assume Torey Pudwill was handling most of the activity on his own.
As the brand slowed down, more signs began to surface.
Pro skateboarder David Reyes decided to leave and link up with Jamie Thomas and the Zero crew. People familiar with the situation said he stepped away because they believed the company might be winding down.
Around the same time, Pudwill was seen riding blank boards and he stopped tagging the brand online, which strengthened the feeling among skaters and insiders that something had changed behind the scenes.
As previously reported, Song recently appeared on Crail Couch with the Girl and Chocolate crew.
The episode brought him back onto fans’ radar after the show’s long break from producing episodes.
Many skaters began guessing that he might end up with Girl or Chocolate, since he is currently a free agent and appears open to whatever comes next.
Song also no longer lists Thank You Skateboards on his bio, which suggests he may have already moved on without an official hard post announcement.
Thank You Skateboards had a strong place in the culture, and the idea of Pudwill and Song teaming up meant a lot to skaters.
With the brand reportedly closing, people are hoping that Pudwill finds a new place to ride for, possibly starts something fresh or redbrand Thank You.
Everyone is also watching to see if Song eventually joins the Crailtap family.
No matter how things play out, both pro skaters already stamped their names in the game, and the community is still rocking with them wherever they go next.
