Shaun White, the X Games five medalist in skateboarding (2 golds, 2 silvers, 1 bronze), is launching a new professional winter sports league called The Snow League.

According to reports, the league aims to provide winter sports athletes with more opportunities to support themselves and a path to being crowned world champion.

The first season, starting in winter 2025, will feature a global competition format with five events, and it will include both men’s and women’s snowboard halfpipe events, with freeskiing introduced later.

The league also plans to add other disciplines like slopestyle and big air. The athletes will accumulate points based on their results from each event, and a world champion will be crowned after the last event.

The competition will be intense, with training days and two days of competition for each event, ensuring a thrilling experience for both athletes and fans.
