As we previously reported, Jamie Thomas recently removed Dane Burman from the team after making a decision guided by his Christian faith.

The decision came after allegations surfaced involving Burman and Yasmin Benoit, who claims she was contacted by Burman when she was a minor.
In response, Jamie acted according to his beliefs and values.
With Burman gone, Zero needed someone to step in, and brother in Christ Ryan Sheckler has joined the team.

Many skaters have reacted positively to the pairing, appreciating that both Sheckler and Jamie share a foundation in faith.
The collaboration is seen as more than just skating; it’s about the shared beliefs and mutual respect.
But not everyone is happy, though.
Skateboarding journalist Robert Brink has voiced strong criticism, calling the partnership a “MAGA Move” and even referring to it as a “Nightmare voting booth rotation.”
Brink’s reaction shows that even decisions rooted in personal faith can create controversy within the skateboarding community.
Despite the criticism, fans of Zero continue to support the new team setup.
The addition of Sheckler brings a sense of continuity to the team while also showing a commitment to values that Thomas and Sheckler hold dear.
