Skate legend Steve Caballero paid tribute to Charlie Kirk one year after the conservative activist was assassinated, sharing his remembrance of Kirk with his followers.
Caballero has been open about his Christian faith throughout his career, making his tribute another example of how Christianity has become part of the public lives of some professional skateboarders.
Former Boonies pro skater Taylor Silverman also shared a tribute to Kirk as the first anniversary of his death arrived.
Silverman has likewise been open about her MAGA beliefs and political views, including her opposition to transgender women competing in women's sports.

"We miss you Charlie."
Ryan Sheckler, another Christian professional skateboarder who has spoken openly about his Christian faith, has also advocated for Kirk and his political message.

Kirk, who was 31, was fatally shot during a debate at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10, 2025.
Tyler Robinson has been charged in connection with his death, and prosecutors may seek the death penalty.

Kirk co-founded Turning Point USA, which has continued expanding its presence at colleges and high schools since his death.
While Caballero, Silverman, Sheckler, and other figures from the skateboarding community, including Jason Ellis and Mikey Taylor, are better known for their careers in and around skating, they have also used their platforms to speak about subjects beyond skating, including Christianity and politics.

Their support for Kirk shows how personal beliefs can become part of the conversation within skateboarding, a culture that includes people with different backgrounds and perspectives.
