At 62 years old, he's not slowing down. In fact, he’s still carving concrete like it's the early days of SoCal pool skating.
Santa Cruz Skateboards recently caught up with Salba and ripper Phoenix Sinnerton for a full day of pool sessions, conversation, and that classic backyard skate culture that never really left.
If you're someone who grew up idolizing pool skaters, or you're just getting into that side of skating, watching Salba still tear it up at 62 is inspiring. And let’s be real - we all hope we’ll still be rolling like that at his age.
