Skateboarding icon Danny Way faces a consequential hurdle in his latest ambitious endeavor to jump the Trump Wall from Mexico to the United States.

The project is now in jeopardy due to the rising number of migrants illegally crossing the border.

Way, who previously achieved fame by becoming the first person to 360 method grab The Great Wall of China on a skateboard in 2005, is determined to break down political barriers with his unique form of expression.

The DC Shoes co-owner revealed that his motivation for attempting this daring stunt goes beyond setting a world record.

Way's vision is rooted in the belief that his massive gap can symbolize unity and defiance against the divisions created by political borders and walls.

While many may view his ambitious plans as reckless or dangerous, Way sees them as a way to challenge the status quo and promote a message of solidarity.

However, the recent surge in illegal border crossings has raised concerns about the safety and feasibility of the stunt.

US President Joe Biden's administration is to build a section of border wall in southern Texas in an effort to stop rising levels of immigration.

The rising number of illegal border crossings has made the issue a vulnerable one for President Biden.

More than 245,000 crossings have been made this year in the Rio Grande Valley area alone, government data shows, and September is expected to be a record month.
