Olympic skateboarding star Nyjah Huston is recovering after a serious skateboarding accident that left him with a fractured skull and a fractured eye socket.
As we previously reported, Nyjah was hospitalized following the incident and had to cancel his Aspen DJ shows.
He later issued a public apology to fans who were expecting to see him perform, explaining that his injuries made it impossible for him to travel or appear as planned.

In his post, he kept things honest and personal, giving fans a better sense of how intense the situation really was.
“A harsh reminder how death defying skating massive rails can be. Fractured skull, fractured eye socket. Taking it one day at a time. I hope yall had a better new years then me. We live to fight another day
”
The message struck a chord with fans, especially those who understand how dangerous skating big rails can be.
Nyjah has always been known for taking on heavy spots, and this injury shows just how real the risks are every time he steps on a board.
The good thing is, he is focused on recovery and taking things day by day.
While there is no word yet on when he will be back skating or making appearances, the support in his comments section has been constant, with fans wishing him well and encouraging him to heal fully before returning.
Missing the Aspen shows was clearly disappointing for him, but health comes first.
