The brands involved include etnies, Emerica, and éS, which remain under Nidecker ownership but will now run through OneTurn for European markets.

According to reports, the agreement focuses on how these brands are brought to retailers and consumers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

OneTurn will be responsible for wholesale distribution, e-commerce operations, regional marketing work, and apparel development tied to each label.

Rather than changing ownership, the setup shifts how the brands are managed locally, giving OneTurn control over execution in those regions while Nidecker keeps global direction and product oversight.

OneTurn operates out of Anglet in France and was founded by Joost Grootswagers and Antoine Lanusse, both of whom have long careers in the European action sports industry.

Before starting OneTurn, they held senior roles at Liberated Brands Europe, where they worked on the Volcom business across the region.

After forming OneTurn in 2025, they also took on additional licensing and operational responsibilities for other brands in Europe, including Volcom and Spyder, building a wider operational network that now includes more than 200 staff across sales, logistics, digital, retail, finance, and marketing.

On the ownership side, Nidecker is a Swiss company with a long history going back to the late 1800s.

In 2024, it expanded its boardsports holdings by acquiring etnies, Emerica, éS, and ThirtyTwo from Sole Technology founder Pierre André Senizergues.

These brands now sit alongside other labels in its broader portfolio, which includes snowboard and boardsports companies such as Nidecker, Jones, Rome, and Bataleon.

With the new structure, OneTurn will work on strengthening retailer relationships across Europe, improving direct-to-consumer operations, and shaping regional marketing programs tailored to each brand.

Apparel development is also included in the scope, adding another layer to how the brands are positioned in different markets.

The rollout is scheduled to begin with Fall 2026 deliveries and will extend into the Spring 2027 pre-order cycle.

From Nidecker’s side, the focus is on keeping product development and global brand direction centralized while relying on OneTurn to handle regional execution.

The company described the approach as a way to keep long-term consistency while improving how the brands operate within European markets.

Leadership from OneTurn highlighted that the three skate footwear labels already fit into their existing structure, pointing to their long presence in skate culture and established retail networks.

Their goal is to maintain retailer relationships and adjust execution based on local market needs across different countries in Europe.

Former founder of etnies, Pierre André Senizergues, also shared support for the arrangement, noting confidence in the leadership now managing the brands in Europe and the continuity for retailers and partners who have worked with these labels over many years.
