Professional skateboarder Nick Merlino has been skating hard in the streets but has never forgotten to praise the Lord Jesus Christ.
His bio on Instagram even says "Jesus is my Rock."
But his fellow Christian pro skater Ragdoll has been catching a whole lot of hate just for talking about Jesus and saying God Bless You All to the ones throwing shade at him.
Instead of fighting back, he stayed calm and threw bread back at them, even though the haters have been throwing rocks, which only made people come after him even more.
Merlino was not having it.
He jumped in and backed Ragdoll right away. He said the world cannot save you but Jesus can, and he told Ragdoll he is proud of him for walking with the Lord.
He called him his brother in Christ and let everybody know he supports him fully.
People around the skate scene have been talking about some satanic imagery, with some brands putting out EVIL Skateboards that feel hellish or destructive to a lot of viewers.
With that kind of stuff floating around, Merlino came through with a message that hits heavy. He believes there is only one source of real help and real protection, and for him that source is Jesus Christ.
According to Christian belief, Jesus can save the world through faith in him, because his life, his death, and his rising again are understood as the way to salvation. The idea comes from scripture, which teaches that he was sent by God to pull humanity out of sin and that salvation comes only through him. For believers, accepting this gift means having faith, trusting in what he did, and choosing to follow his teachings. That belief is what guides people like Merlino and Ragdoll when they speak up about why their faith matters so much.
What makes this whole situation stand out is how both skaters are moving differently from the usual online chaos tied to satanism.
Instead of trading insults or feeding the drama, they are staying calm and steady. They are talking about belief, kindness, and a path that is not driven by clout or approval from strangers.
For a lot of believers in Christ, it feels refreshing to see skaters speaking honestly about something deeper than tricks, fame, or hype.
Merlino stepping up for Ragdoll also shows that the skate world has more variety than people think. You have all kinds of skaters in it, and they all carry their own beliefs and experiences.
