Professional skateboarder, singer, songwriter and rapper Jereme Rogers recently opened up about a music collab that never saw the light of day.
In the Wallride X Podcast interview, he reflected on his experiences in the studio. Rogers shared that he was once supposed to submit a track with Hopsin, but the entire thing got lost before it ever had the chance to be released.
"I've actually had to submit a song with him one time and I lost the file," Rogers said. "I don't know. This was perfectly a good song." It was not some half-finished draft or a loose idea either. From the way he described it, it sounds like something solid that could have made an impact.
What makes the situation even more wild is what he said next. "He showed me a report on his royalties and he made 700 grand first quarter of the year off his merch. And he is an independent artist. Like bro that's fcking crazy bro."

The Magnums What I Fit rapper seemed genuinely impressed with Hopsin’s success. Coming from someone who has put in serious work both in skateboarding and music, it was clear he had a lot of respect for what Hopsin has built on his own.
This story adds a what-could-have-been feeling to Rogers’s musical side.
He has always approached creative projects with confidence, so losing a full song with an artist like Hopsin had to hit hard.
It also shows how unpredictable the creative process can be. One missing file can erase something that might have reached a lot of people. Sometimes, things just slip through the cracks.
