The 90s skate shoe brand has officially welcomed pro skater Nassim Lachhab as it continues restructuring following its split with YouTube skater Luis Mora.
With Roca leading the company, Lakai has wasted no time building its current roster.
Lachhab has earned plenty of respect for his powerful street skating over the years. After parting ways with Etnies in January 2025, he became a free agent but never stopped filming and skating.

His clips proved he was still performing at a very high level, making him an attractive pickup for any footwear company looking to strengthen its team.

Now he joins Lakai alongside pro skateboarding veteran Bastien Salabanzi and Skater of the Year and Trick of the Year winner Chris Joslin.
That lineup gives Lakai a strong mix of experience, technical ability, and street credibility as the company continues shaping its current identity.
The recent additions also show the direction Roca has chosen for Lakai.
Without Mora, Roca has continued rebuilding the brand with new riders while keeping respected names such as Salabanzi and Joslin on the roster.
For anyone wondering if Mora's departure would slow the company down, Lakai's recent leadership tells a different story.
