Mizuho Hasegawa took home the gold medal in the women’s vert contest at the Aichi Nagoya Asian Games on Friday.
The 15-year-old came out on top, with Shuka Kawai taking second place and Helena Mascaro Paciello Laurino finishing third.
Hasegawa shared the spotlight with fellow Japanese skater Izuru Nagahara, who won gold in the men’s park event.
With the win, Hasegawa adds an Asian Games gold medal to her young career and gives Japanese skateboarding another big result on the international stage.
Congratulations to all the ladies who killed it in the contest!
