After the injury, Nyjah said he did not want to wear a helmet and quickly returned to skating in the streets.
He also kept up with his other commitments, including DJ bookings and contests for his deodorant brand, Out There.
Now he has taken things even further by entering SLS Paris and winning the men’s final.
Nyjah put up 36.4 points to take first place, with Tao Sasaki finishing second at 35.4 and Giovanni Vianni taking third with 26.8.
Considering how recently Nyjah suffered such a serious head injury, seeing him back in an SLS final and taking the win is pretty wild.
He did not waste much time getting back to competition and annihilated every obstacle. Damn!
