Pro skater Michael Berdis recently shared some sad news about his beloved cat, Salem.
In a deeply personal post, he explained that he had been putting off making the announcement because he didn’t want to believe it was true.
While Berdis was out of town for work, he got a call from his wife letting him know that Salem had passed away.
Salem was only three years old, but Berdis shared that she had a wonderful life filled with love and care.
He also included some photos that capture special moments with her, giving a glimpse into the bond they shared.
Although some might see it as just a pet, Berdis said that Salem was a big part of their family. He admitted that he doesn’t usually share much about his personal life online, but felt that Salem deserved her own post.
