Skateboarders everywhere were stoked when Chris Joslin landed a massive 360 flip down El Toro.
The trick quickly became the talk of the skate community and even made the cover of Thrasher before the video was officially released.
After the clip made its rounds online, fans flooded Joslin with messages and comments congratulating him on the NBD.
Since he couldn’t respond to everyone individually, he decided to post a video to thank everyone for the support. He said it meant a lot to see so many people enjoying what he’s been working on.
While showing gratitude to his fans, Joslin also gave an update on his upcoming full part, which is set to drop before the end of the year.
Skaters are already anticipating the release, and with backing from Lakai boss Luis Mora, Plan B Skateboards, and Rockstar Energy, expectations are high.
It looks like Joslin will be a strong contender for Skater of the Year once the part drops and the Thrasher cover goes live.
Other major skate shoe brands will also have a stake in the Skater of the Year race. As previously reported, Gary Rogers explained that winning the award is not just about tricks or parts. It is also about how it benefits Thrasher and supports the magazine, according to Rogers.

Anyway, there's a small setback on releasing the part. Unfortunately, Joslin recently jammed his toe, which temporarily paused filming. "I recently jammed my toe which put a halt on the filming. He said, "It's been driving me crazy for the last two weeks since SF when I jammed my toe up there but it's almost back."
Despite the delay, Joslin is determined to finish his part this month.
He’s focused on getting fully healed and back on his board so he can complete the remaining footage.
Fans are hoping the video part will drop in November, right before Thrasher announces the contenders and the winner for Skater of the Year.
Even with the injury and some time off the board, Joslin’s dedication and the excitement around his tricks have kept the skate world watching closely.
The 360 flip at El Toro was just the beginning, and everyone is ready to see what he comes up with next.
