As we previously reported, skater rapper Machine Gun Kelly has helped bring a new skatepark to Cleveland’s East Side, giving local skaters a place to ride in his hometown.
Now the skatepark is officially open, and MGK made sure to show up and celebrate with the local skate scene.
The opening brought out more skaters, with a gnarly session going down and MGK getting on his board himself.
Of course, he did not just show up to watch. He grabbed his skateboard and got in on the shredding while rolling his blunt.

The scene was captured by skate mom Jessica Adamini, who was kind enough to share the footage from the day.
Adamini posted the clip with the caption:
"Welcome home MGK. #cleveland #stuckinohio #redbull
The new skatepark is especially personal for MGK since Cleveland is his hometown. He has been getting more involved with skateboarding in recent years, and seeing him actually get on the board at the new park made the opening feel even cooler.
Now that Cleveland’s East Side has a new place for skaters to meet up and shred, it looks like MGK is already making himself at home.
And judging by this clip, he was not planning on standing around for the opening.
He came to skate.
