Professional skateboarder Lil Wayne has recently shared his candid feelings about the nerve-wracking experience of collaborating with rap legend Eminem.
In an interview with The New York Times for a feature on the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, the Thank You Skateboards pro spoke about feeling "scared" about the prospect of asking Eminem to collaborate for the first time.
"I was scared, actually, when I called Eminem for a song," Wayne, 40, told the outlet. "That is a monster."
"He must have the same thing I have with words. Like, we can’t get them out of our heads. Every meaning, every aspect of them. Things that rhyme, we hear it," continued the "A Milli" rapper. "I already know the gift and the curse that he has. And I love to hear the way he puts it together."
Although fans call Weezy the GOAT, he still felt nervous when working with another GOAT, Eminem.
