The Nine Club and The Bunt have established themselves as a popular podcast for skaters by skaters.
However, on his new Beautiful Day podcast, YouTube skater Lamont Holt has recently raised the need for genuine opinions, challenging questions, and interviews with the right guests on these shows.
Holt argues that the current approach of these shows may need to be improved to open and honest conversations within the skateboarding community.
According to Holt, the hosts often refrain from expressing their true point of view or asking hard-hitting questions that would lead to more insightful conversations.
Fellow YouTube star Bryan Arnett also weigh-in and said that previous podcast guests of Holt have been more open and candid in sharing their thoughts.
Holt then acknowledges that many skateboarders hesitate to express their genuine thoughts due to a fear of burning bridges.
Hence, he argues that it is possible to share genuine thoughts without jeopardizing relationships and that it is crucial for the growth and development of skating.
