After a hiatus of over a decade, skateboarding icon Chad Muska is officially back on the Shorty's family.

Shorty's and Muska posted a video and reposted a freshly printed Shorty's board via Instagram.

Muska's return to Shorty's is big news for the skateboarding world. The 43-year-old skateboarder rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of Shorty's team and quickly became one of his generation's most influential and innovative skateboarders.

Muska's signature style combined technical tricks with an artistic sensibility and helped redefine what was possible on a skateboard.

Muska's first run with Shorty's ended in early 2006 when he left the team to pursue other projects. Over the next decade, Muska remained active in skateboarding, but his influence waned as new generations of skateboarders emerged.

For the old school skateboarders, the Muska's return to the OG skate team Shorty's is a reason to celebrate.

With Muska back on Shorty's, it's clear that the brand is once again poised to make a big impact in the skateboarding world.

  • Nyjah Huston’s ‘Unbroken’ Pro Board Features His Gnarly Fractured Skull Graphic After taking a brutal slam that fractured Nyjah Huston’s skull and eye socket during a backside feeble grind on the massive handrail stairs, it looked like things could have gone really wrong. But Nyjah didn’t let it keep him down. He’s skating the streets again, and to celebrate the comeback, his brand Disorder Skateboards is dropping the new ‘Unbroken’ Pro Board featuring a gnarly fractured skull graphic that’s impossible to ignore. The board itself is absurd, a perfect reflection of what Nyjah went through. It captures that moment when a slam goes seriously wrong but the rider comes back harder, and the design hits in a way that makes anyone who sees it stop and look. Core heads can now pre-order the deck and get a piece of that history straight from the streets. Disorder Skateboards put it like this: “With one of the heaviest slams skateboarding has ever seen, we’re making a graphic that’s dedicated to @nyjah commitment to the streets. Available for pre-order tomorrow 12pm PST.” This release isn’t just about a board. It’s about recovery, persistence, and the kind of skating that doesn’t quit even after hitting the deck in a way most people couldn’t imagine.Nyjah Huston’s ‘Unbroken’ Pro Board Features His Gnarly Fractured Skull Graphic
