PS Stix founder and one of the most successful skateboard manufacturers in the US, Professor Paul Schmitt, shared heartfelt reflections on his with the late legend Jason Adams via an Instagram post.

Schmitt reminisced about the moment back in the May 5th, 2014 photograph.

He posted, This photo was taken in May 5th 2014
We made the board he is holding together as a prototype for #ZflexSkateboards

Jay was so excited as he was just approved for travel to leave the country and he was heading to Mexico in a couple days for a surf trip.

Jay even swept my workshop clean, it was an amazing day.

He got the waves and unfortunately passed away a few months later on the trip that was his last.
