The American media personality, socialite, model, businesswoman, producer, and actress Kimberly Noel Kardashian West's brand Skims to Partner with team USA skateboarding for the upcoming Olympics.
Kardashian-West took to Instagram Monday to announce that her clothing line Skims will design the official team USA undergarments, pajamas, and loungewear for the athletes at the Tokyo Olympics.
"Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad." Kardashian-West wrote. "As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied."
She added. "I traveled w my stepdad and family to all different cities for the Olympic trials, the Olympics and track meets of Caitlyn Jenner’s and at every stop I would buy an Olympic t-shirt as a souvenir."
"When I received the call inviting Skims to be a part of Team USA, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle."
Kardashian-West continued. "I am honored to announce that Skims is designing the official team USA undergarments, pajamas and lounge wear for the athletes this year in Tokyo and the same pieces will be available in a capsule collection at Skims.com."
Kardashian-West also shouted out the athletes who posed for this campaign including Alex Morgan, Dalilah Muhammad, A'ja Wilson, Scout Bassett, Haley Anderson, and others.
Olympian skateboarders will have uniforms. However, the reality TV star only posted female athletes in Skim's attire, and her brand only focuses on women.
The official team USA undergarments, pajamas, and loungewear design will highly likely produce Skims men's apparel as well.
