Juni Kang just took the crown at the 2026 Street League Skateboarding Downtown Los Angeles competition and people are still talking about it.
Juni has been steadily building a name for himself thanks to sponsorships from Red Bull, Slappy, and a few other brands that know he has serious skills on the board.
At DTLA, he really showed why he is becoming one of the skaters everyone wants to watch. He landed a massive switch 270 frontside bluntslide on a huge handrail, a trick that left the crowd shouting.
If he keeps landing tricks like that consistently, he could seriously dominate every stop on the SLS tour.
But he did not stop there.
Juni also threw down a switch 270 backside lipslide that had OG pro skater Greg Lutzka celebrating because that was Greg's go-to trick back in the day when he was winning contests.
Street League Skateboarding celebrated his win on social media, posting:
"Your #SLSDTLA Men’s Champ is @kangjun_09 🤝
Congrats on your first win, Juni! 🏆"
With a win like this, you already know that Juni is someone to keep an eye on. Skaters are excited to see him go pro and there is no doubt this is just the beginning of a lot more highlights to come.
