Basketball legend Michael Jordan and his brand are stepping into new territory with its latest release: the 'Jordan Session' sneaker.

With Jordan's longstanding partnership with Nike, it only makes sense that Jordan Brand would tap into the world of skateboarding culture.

And that's exactly what they're doing with this exciting new sneaker since Jordan had some SB's as well.

The 'Jordan Session' is a sneaker that has the aesthetics of skateboarding footwear with a casual, lifestyle look.

Priced at $90, this sneaker offers something a little different from the usual Jordan offerings.

Its design features a toe-box that takes cues from the popular dad-shoe trend, giving it a chunky, retro feel while staying grounded in skateboarding influence.

This new release is set to drop sometime in the Summer or Fall, giving sneakerheads and skate fans plenty of time to get excited.

It’s not just about performance on the board, though Jordan Brand seems to be making a play for the casual lifestyle market too.

It’ll be interesting to see how this new addition to Jordan Brand’s lineup stacks up against the brand’s basketball-heavy lineup and whether it draws in a new crowd of skateboarders.

Either way, this is definitely a pair of sneakers that skateboarding enthusiasts will be checking out when they land this year.
