Core skateboarder Travis Bellatino sets an inspiring example for the skateboarding community and the broader public with his unyielding commitment to keeping the West Valley City skatepark clean and green.

Waking up at the crack of dawn, he ensures this urban oasis remains pristine and inviting for young skaters.

However, Bellatino is no ordinary skateboarder. While most skaters frequent the park to stoke on thrills and excitement, Travis approaches his skateboarding sessions with a unique twist.

Armed with a trusty leaf blower and a claw tool, he's always ready to embark on a different mission - park maintenance.

As the sun rises, Bellatino takes his leaf blower and meticulously sweeps away any debris or trash that has accumulated overnight.

He then uses his claw tool to pick up smaller items, ensuring the skatepark remains safe and clean for skaters of all ages.

His dedication hasn't gone unnoticed. The West Valley City community and local skaters admire his commitment to keeping the skatepark clean and safer.

In recognition of his ongoing efforts, a Mountain American Credit Union representative recently awarded Travis a $500 cash prize.
